Life Scout Bobby Witkowski from Troop 49 has finished his Eagle Scout service project at the Crawford House at last! Bobby’s project involved uncovering and exposing the foundation from the Crawford family butcher shop on the property, as well as creating a stone border and chain ‘fence’ around the front of it, and installing interpretive signage.
Many thanks to Bobby and his army of volunteer helpers for many hours of hard work removing brush, soil, and debris from the foundation. Thanks also to the Borough Department of Public Works for creating and mounting the sign, and to the local businesses that donated materials for the project.
