The Friends of the Crawford House
Tinton Falls, NJ
The Crawford House is the heart of Tinton Falls history. This area was home to one of the earliest ironworks in colonial America, and the house itself sheltered four generations of the Crawford family, who ran their butcher shop here for a century. We preserve and share that heritage through tours, exhibits, and hands-on programs. Stop by, browse the farm stand, and help us keep our community's story alive.
Monmouth 250 Scavenger Hunt
May 2 - July 4
Monmouth County Historic Association is sponsoring a county-wide scavenger hunt as part of the 250th celebration, and the Crawford House is a joining in the fun! Click on the graphic to see our questions, and visit the house to find the answers. Hint: you can find the answers in the signs on the property - you don't need to come in the house.
