The community garden at the Crawford House was built in 2009, to provide residents with a place to grow their own fresh produce, and also to give the Friends of the Crawford House space to grow vegetables to sell at their farm stand. Due to the popularity of the garden, a second community garden was built in 2015 around the corner on Water Street.
